Mathews Associates, Inc. was founded in the spring of 1980 as a limited
partnership by Herman Mathews and other former government contractors. In 1993, Dan
Perreault assumed company ownership and forged a new vision of expansion into the world
market place with emerging power technology. The company has enjoyed a 25% per year growth
rate with Dan at the helm. This growth has been due both to Dan's philosophy,
reinvestment into the company and employees alike. Quality is engrained from system
design, through manufacturing to final product delivery.

General Tommy Franks of the United States Central Command. BATTERY COMPANY'S BUSTLING BUSINESS SPARKS MANY MOVES Dan Perreault has a lot to be charged up about these days. Not only did the chief executive officer of Sanford's Mathews Associates/Battery Assemblers Inc. preside over a 25 percent revenue increase in the past year to top out at nearly 20 million, he recently opened an office in Paris, started manufacturing in Algeria, joined a global partnership with British firm MIL Power Limited for the supply of military batteries & charger systems and received an export achievement certificate from the U.S. Department of Commerce. Last, but not least, Perreault is moving his employees from their cramped, 20,000-square-foot battery assembling facility on Hickman Circle to a new facility around the corner on Power Court that's almost four times bigger. MAI FACILITY / MANUFACTURING
Mathews Associates/Battery Assemblers is known primarily for the rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries it supplies to the U.S. military, as well as the military forces of other countries. While government contracts very often look for the lowest-priced supplier, Mathews builds batteries using patent-protected methods that simply don't have competition. They also supply the military with battery boxes and alarms that alert soldiers in case of chemical attacks. In addition, the company recently began offering a new service to the military that provides electronic testing for various types of batteries.
